description
Drawing from classic fantasy stonework traditions, the dwarven faceted gem ring translates the clean geometry of cut stone into metalwork. Designed for anyone who appreciates structured geometric forms, the ring centers on an angular, tiered square head reminiscent of a faceted gem set above an openwork band.
The ring features a square, multi-faceted top resembling a stepped gemstone carved in relief. Linear geometric grooves define each facet face, creating deep contrast when finished in oxidized silver. The band transitions into openwork geometric arches flanking the centerpiece, continuing into interlocking hexagonal shapes along the shank. Available in oxidized, high-polish, and plated finishes, each surface treatment emphasizes the architectural facets differently.

Product information
1 · Calibrate your screen
Lay the coin flat on the dark disc and adjust the slider until the disc is hidden exactly under the coin: no dark rim showing, no gap. With a bank card, match its short edge to the outline. We remember this for next time.
US quarter · 24.26 mm
2 · Place your ring on the screen
Use a ring that fits the same finger. Lay it flat on the disc, look straight down, and adjust until the disc fills the inside of the ring exactly: no light gap, no disc hidden under the metal.
18.0 mm inner diameter
Measuring with a slim ring but buying a wide band (8 mm or more)? Go a quarter to half size up: wide bands fit tighter.
Measure your finger
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, snug but not tight, and mark where it overlaps. Make sure it also passes over the knuckle. Measure the strip with a ruler and enter the length.
Measure in the evening at room temperature. Wide bands (8 mm and more) fit tighter: take a quarter size up.

Sarnion rings are cast to order in quarter sizes (3 to 15 US). Between two sizes? Take the quarter in between. Prefer paper? Printable sizer and size chart.
Every Sarnion piece is cast to order in our Istanbul workshop, in the size you choose at checkout. Rings come in quarter sizes from 3 to 15 US, so you never have to settle for "close enough". Use the on-screen sizer above, the printable sizer, or the table below; if you are still unsure, write to support@sarnion.com with your measurements and we will confirm the size for you.
Rings
Three ways to find your size
A ring you already own. Pick one that fits the same finger. Measure its inner diameter with a ruler, use the on-screen sizer above, or lay it over the circles on the printable sizer. Then read the size from the table.
A strip of paper. Cut a strip about 5 mm wide. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight, and make sure it also slides over the knuckle. Mark where it overlaps, measure the length in millimetres: that is your circumference.
The printable Sarnion sizer. One sheet with a print check, size circles and a cut-out strip: A4 · US Letter. Print at 100% with scaling off and check the card outline before you trust it.
Using the on-screen sizer
The sizer at the top of this page (and under the size box on every ring page) turns your screen into a measuring tool. It is accurate to about a quarter size when you follow these steps:
Calibrate once. Pick a reference you have to hand, a US quarter by default, and lay it flat on the dark disc. Move the slider until the disc is hidden exactly under the coin: no dark rim peeking out, no light gap around the coin. With a bank card, match the outline to the card’s short edge. Tap It matches; we remember the setting for this device.
Place a ring that fits the finger you are buying for flat on the disc. Hold the phone level and look straight down, not at an angle.
Grow or shrink the disc until it fills the inside of the ring exactly: no light showing between disc and metal, and the disc not disappearing under the metal. The − and + buttons move it by a twentieth of a millimetre.
Read your size. We show the US quarter size, the diameter and circumference in millimetres, and the UK, EU and Italian equivalents. On a ring page, Use this size selects it for you.
Keep the browser at 100% zoom and recalibrate if you switch phone or computer; the setting belongs to the screen it was made on.
Measuring with a slim ring but buying a wide band of 8 mm or more? Go a quarter to half size up: wide bands fit tighter.
Five rules for a good fit
Measure in the evening, at room temperature. Fingers are smaller in the morning and in the cold, larger in heat and after exercise.
The ring should slide over the knuckle with slight resistance and sit at the base without spinning.
Wide bands (8 mm and more) fit tighter than slim ones: take a quarter size up.
Between two sizes? Order the quarter in between. We cast it.
Each finger is different, and the dominant hand is usually a quarter to half a size larger. Measure the exact finger you will wear the ring on.

Bracelets
Measure your wrist with a tape measure, or a strip of paper and a ruler, just above the wrist bone where the bracelet will sit. Choose the bracelet size that matches your wrist measurement; if you prefer a looser fit, take the next size up. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
Bracelet sizes are given on each product page as wrist ranges in inches and centimetres (6.5–7 in / 16–17 cm, and so on). Email support@sarnion.com if you would like us to confirm.
Pendants and chains
Chain length is the full length of the chain when open. "Only Pendant" means the pendant ships without a chain and fits most chains up to 4 mm thick.
Length is the first decision when choosing a chain: before the link style, before the finish, it decides where the pendant sits. Our chains run from 16 to 30 inches; where each one falls depends on your neck and build, so use the images and table as a guide.

Not sure between two? Measure around the base of your neck with a tape or a strip of paper; a chain 2 to 4 inches longer than that sits comfortably at the collarbone, and every extra 2 inches drops the pendant about an inch lower.
Pendant size is the height of the pendant including the bail (the loop the chain passes through), measured vertically at the longest point; width is measured at the widest point. Where a pendant comes in several sizes, the dimensions of each are listed on the product page.

Before you order

925 sterling silver
Every Sarnion piece starts as solid 925 sterling silver: 92.5% pure silver, alloyed with copper for the strength pure silver lacks. Each piece is stamped 925, and the alloy we cast is nickel-free, so it sits comfortably on sensitive skin.
Nothing is taken from a shelf. Your piece is cast to order in our workshop by lost-wax casting: molten silver poured into a mould taken from the original hand-carved model, then cleaned, hand-finished and given the finish you choose below. The finish changes how the piece looks and ages; the metal underneath is the same, unless you ask for it cast entirely in solid gold.
Finishes for this piece
Oxidized Silver
Look Antique charm with modern weight. Deep charcoal settles into every recess while the high points stay bright silver, so each line of the carving reads like an engraving and the design gains depth you can see from across a room. The piece looks unearthed rather than freshly made, with the quiet, mystical character Sarnion is known for.
Craft After casting and hand-finishing, the sterling silver is immersed in a sulphur patina, the same chemistry antique silversmiths used, which turns the surface a dense black. Our artisans then polish the raised surfaces back to bare metal by hand, one piece at a time, controlling exactly how much shadow stays in the detail. No paint and no lacquer: the darkness is in the silver itself, which is why it never flakes.
Character A living finish and our customers’ favourite. The high points brighten with wear and the contrast deepens, so the ring grows more personal every year.
Best for Detailed, sculptural designs: skulls, scrollwork, animals, mythology. The finish that tells the story best and the one that made Sarnion’s name.
Polished Silver
Look Bright, mirror-like silver with maximum brilliance. Light runs across the surface from every angle; the design shows through form and shadow rather than contrast, which gives even heavy pieces a clean, sophisticated line.
Craft Cast in 925 sterling silver and hand-polished in stages, from coarse compound through finer grades to a final rouge, until the surface reflects like glass. Polishing hides nothing, so every casting is inspected and refined by hand before it reaches this stage.
Character Silver as it is. It settles into a soft satin glow with daily wear and returns to a full mirror with a minute of the polishing cloth included in your order.
Best for Those who prefer clean lines and timeless simplicity: signets, bands, minimal pendants and anything worn next to a watch.
Rose Plated Silver
Look Soft, warm and romantic: a blush-pink metal that is gentler than yellow gold and complements every skin tone. It gives silver designs a contemporary, luxurious warmth.
Craft The sterling silver is polished to a mirror first, because plating magnifies whatever lies beneath it, then electroplated with rose gold, an alloy of gold and copper. The copper gives the colour its pink depth; the gold gives it its glow.
Character A surface finish that stays rich for years on pieces worn with a little care, mellowing gently toward the silver at the points you touch most. The strength and detail of the sterling silver underneath never change.
Best for Modern romantics: pendants, earrings, delicate rings and pieces chosen as gifts.
Gold Vermeil
Look Timeless golden brilliance: the rich, saturated colour of yellow gold that reads as solid gold on the hand, over the weight and detail of sterling silver.
Craft Mirror-polished sterling silver electroplated with gold, then inspected by hand. Vermeil is a protected term: it can only describe gold over a solid sterling silver base, never over base metal.
Character Holds its colour through regular wear while the sterling silver underneath keeps the weight and detail of the original casting.
Best for Everyday gold looks without the solid-gold price; the classic choice for pieces worn often.
Black Rhodium Plated
Look Bold, modern and dramatically dark: a gunmetal sheen with a cool, almost liquid reflection. Detail reads through highlights rather than contrast, giving the design a stealthy, serious presence.
Craft Mirror-polished sterling silver electroplated with black rhodium, a rare metal of the platinum family. Rhodium is harder than both silver and gold, which is why jewellers have used it for a century to armour precious metal.
Character The rhodium layer shrugs off everyday scratches better than the silver beneath it. Over years, the edges you touch most may lighten toward silver, an effect many wearers come to prize.
Best for Those who dare to stand out: modern, masculine designs that pair naturally with black steel watches.
10K
10K Solid Gold
Look A lighter, cooler yellow than the higher karats, with the weight and presence only solid gold has. Even the smallest piece feels substantial in the hand.
Craft Cast entirely in solid 10K gold, 41.7% pure gold alloyed with harder metals, in our workshop, from the same hand-carved master as the silver original, then hand-finished. Solid gold is heavier than silver, so the piece gains weight as well as colour.
Character The hardest of the three karats: it resists scratches and bending best, never tarnishes, and keeps its colour through a lifetime of wear.
Best for Daily-wear rings and bracelets, and the most accessible way into solid gold.
14K
14K Solid Gold
Look The classic gold colour: warm and rich without tipping into orange, the shade most people picture when they think of fine jewellery.
Craft Cast entirely in solid 14K gold, 58.3% pure gold, in our workshop, from the same hand-carved master as the silver original, then hand-finished. Solid gold is heavier than silver, so the piece gains weight as well as colour.
Character The balance point of colour and strength: durable enough for daily wear, rich enough to read unmistakably as gold, and it never tarnishes. Our most requested solid-gold option.
Best for Heirloom pieces, wedding and anniversary gifts, everyday luxury.
18K
18K Solid Gold
Look The deepest, warmest yellow of the three. 18K carries the most gold and shows it: a saturated colour with exceptional depth and glow.
Craft Cast entirely in solid 18K gold, 75% pure gold, in our workshop, from the same hand-carved master as the silver original, then hand-finished. Solid gold is heavier than silver, so the piece gains noticeable weight as well as colour.
Character Softer than 14K, so it takes on a fine, lived-in surface with hard daily use; it never tarnishes and polishes back beautifully.
Best for Pendants, special-occasion rings and pieces chosen for colour above all: the pinnacle of the range.
Whatever the finish, the metal is genuine: solid 925 sterling silver or solid gold, cast and finished in our own workshop, stamped and inspected before it ships. Metal, casting and workmanship are covered by our limited lifetime warranty. For how to keep each finish at its best, see Care Tips.
Caring for your Sarnion piece
Every Sarnion piece is cast to order in solid 925 sterling silver or solid gold and finished by hand in our Istanbul workshop. Precious metal is made to be worn for decades; a minute of care now and then is all it asks to stay at its best.
What comes with your order
Each piece arrives in an anti-tarnish pouch with a two-layer polishing cloth. Together they handle almost all routine care.
Clean with the inner, lighter cloth. It carries a mild cleaning agent that lifts tarnish and skin oils from silver and gold.
Buff with the outer, darker cloth to bring back the shine.
Keep the cloth dry. Never wash it: it darkens with use, which is the cleaning agent doing its job, and it stays effective for years.
Five everyday rules
Last on, first off. Put your jewellery on after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take it off before washing your hands.
Keep it dry. Remove it for the pool, the sea, the shower, the sauna, the gym and sleep. Chlorine, salt water and sweat are the main enemies of plated finishes.
No chemicals, no machines. Household cleaners, bleach, silver dips, abrasive polish, toothpaste and ultrasonic cleaners can strip a patina or wear through a plating in one go.
Store it apart. Each piece in its own pouch, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Silver scratches silver when pieces tumble together; fasten chains before storing so they do not tangle.
Travel in the pouch. The pouch keeps air and friction away in a bag or suitcase.
Finish by finish
Oxidised silver. The dark patina in the recesses is intentional and sits in the silver itself; there is no lacquer to flake. With wear the high points brighten and the contrast deepens, which is the finish at its best. Clean gently with the cloth only. Silver dips and liquid polish strip the patina, so keep them away.
Polished silver. Hand-polished to a mirror and then plated with white rhodium, so it stays bright rather than tarnishing. A wipe with the soft outer cloth is enough. Do not use abrasive polish or dips; they wear the rhodium layer.
Gold vermeil and gold plated. A layer of gold over sterling silver. Follow the five rules above, and wipe the piece with the soft outer cloth after wearing to remove oils. Avoid rubbing hard, and never use polish, dips or water with soap: a dry cloth is the whole routine.
Rose plated silver. Rose gold contains copper, which is more sensitive to perfume, sweat and moisture than yellow gold. Treat it exactly like vermeil, with a little extra attention to the five rules.
Black rhodium plated. Rhodium is harder than silver and resists scratches well, but it is still a surface layer. Dry cloth only; no abrasives. Over years the edges you touch most may lighten toward silver, a look many wearers come to prize.
Two Color. Treat the oxidised body as oxidised silver and the gold accent as a plated finish: cloth only, no dips.
Solid gold. Does not tarnish. Lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, a soft brush and a thorough dry are all it needs. 18K is softer than 14K and 10K, so give it the same care you would a fine watch.
Pieces with stones. Keep perfume and hairspray away from the stone, clean around it with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry fully. Do not soak set stones.
Good to know
Will my ring change over time? Yes, gently. Polished surfaces take on a soft satin with wear, oxidised pieces grow in contrast, and plated finishes slowly mellow at the points you touch most. This is precious metal living with you, not a fault.
Can I resize it? Each piece is cast in the size you choose, so please use our size guide before ordering. Resizing by another jeweller is not covered by the warranty.
Something feels wrong? Email support@sarnion.com with your order number and a photo and we will tell you what to do. Faults in metal, casting or workmanship are covered by our limited lifetime warranty.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 56 reviews.
Love the piece. Will be picking up more items over time. Wonderful selection!
The product is not only great quality but I also didn't realize I would be getting a very nice bracelet too. The only bit of advice is that you need to double check your ring size because mine came in a touch too big. Not a big hassle but I'll need to be sure not to fling my hand or else the ring will go flying
I bought the ring as a present for my boyfriend. The seller sent it out early so it would come in time for valentine’s day. Communication was amazing and the ring was gorgeous. Even the packaging was extraordinary. Would definitely buy again.
The ring is super lightweight so it might not stand up to heavy pressure but that’s no worries for me. It’s got very straight edges so if lifting stuff it may dig in. But the quality in the picture is exactly what you get.
The packaging they send it in is a custom wooden box, their website and name are on it. It’s wrapped in burlap and tied with string and wax sealed. There’s so much to it that you can tell it’s a small business and not some flipper on here. Not only that but it came with a little gift bracelet. All of this I absolutely loved.
The ring is awesome. It was delivered very fast and came in a nice box with a little extra suprise. The ring fits perfectly and warms my dwarven heart and soul. When I had a question, I got a fast answer. The service was very helpful.
I am all around happy with this beautiful piece of jewelery.
Great craftsmanship, fast shipping and an excellent seller. The customization I requested also looks perfect. The packaging was a nice touch as well. I will definitely buy from here again in the future.
Awesome ring! Great quality, captures the design of the dwarves perfectly. I asked for a custom engraving of a rune in the middle, and it came out even better than I imagined! A must have for any Lord of The Rings fan :)
It’s gorgeous, the box is gorgeous, and I got a free bracelet. Should be noted that it is quite fragile (since it isn’t a band but a design), so avoid heavy wear
Great ring and feeds my fantasy accessories with the style of DnD and LOTR in mind. The ring is light and is a fun item to wear in place of my wedding band, which my wife seems to like the look of it. Would recommend.
I am ecstatic. The quality and finishing of the ring are magnificent, the wax seal packaging and the wooden box are something epic! All in pure dwarf style... truly compliments!!
The quality of the item and packaging is very nice. While I had hoped the ring had a little more weight to it the product is overall very nice and the packaging is by far the nicest unboxing experience I have ever had with that said I am disappointed overall as I ordered a size 10.5 ring and received a 10 I reached out to the seller but their solution is to have me spend more money on an error that is not my fault. Quite disappointing. Oh well looks like I will take it to a local jeweler for resizing.
I ordered this ring by mistake. I was ordering for someone else and accidentally ordered the wrong ring. I contacted the seller about returning the ring and they were so helpful. I did end up choosing to keep the ring for myself though. It is beautiful and very comfortable to wear. Like the other ring I have from this shop, the quality is brilliant. Worth every cent.
I'm happy beyond words with the ring I bought. Quality is stunning. I have very small hands and fingers so I ordered the smallest size available. The central piece was even sized accordingly so it doesn't swamp my finger. Really light and comfortable to wear, I haven't taken it off since I got it! packaging deserves a mention too, beautiful wax seal on a hessian bag containing a wooden box stamped with the helmet symbol, they also included a free bracelet! I felt very special receiving it. I'm over the moon with how stunningly beautiful this ring is and I definitely recommend this seller. Their work is outstanding!
I love it!! My fiancé has a similar one to this one from the same shop and they’re both amazing! Already used to wearing it, like it’s always been there! Absolutely love it!!!
Ring was very easily bent, slightly too small for my finger after using a finger measuring device. Decent quality, the acid wash is already rubbing off from about one week of wearing it.
